Two cabins for rent located just 25 min from Ottawa. Located right on the cross-country ski trails of the West Carleton Nordic Ski Club with approximately 15 km of groomed trails (both classic and skate-skiing) in the beautiful Fitzroy Provincial Park.  For more information on this ski club go to http://www.wcnordic.com
 
These cabins are perfect for weekend getaways for cross country skiing or snowshoeing.  The 2 cabins are approximately a 5 minute ski apart from each other.  The cabins are off-grid - there is no hydro and the washroom is outside (outhouse). Both are heated by a woodstove (wood provided) and barbeque available for cooking. Both cabins are also equipped with all pots, pans, plates and utensils - just bring your food and sleeping bags. This place is ideal for those who love outdoor activities or just relaxing at a quiet, secluded getaway while watching the deer go by.
 
Cabin that sleeps 2 people - $75 per night
The cabin is comfortable for 2 people. There is a sofa-bed, woodstove and small eating area. Ski club members receive a discounted rate of just $60 per night.
Log cabin that sleeps 4 people - $100 per night
This is a beautiful log cabin that easily accommodates 4 people.   The large upper loft has a queen size bed and the main level includes a double size sofa bed.  Large kitchen table and charming log structure makes for cozy nights after a day on the ski trails.
